Despite their small size, downlights are designed to produce illumination conformant to lighting standards. Using different lamps and lumen outputs, highly varied requirements can be met. By combining with modern parabolic louvres, these downlights achieve very good glare control. This makes them also suitable for the lighting of work areas and computer workstations. |

Two luminaire covers are available. There is the standard ring, which is a slender ring with an insert recess, and there is the 2-part interchangeable ring system featuring a permanently attached base ring, which acts as a receptacle for different cover rings.

Cast-in housings for concrete
The use of concrete fittings makes it possible to integrate recessed luminaires harmoniously into ceilings. Custom adaptations also enable special static specifications to be satisfied. This includes lengthened inlet ports to allow rebar to be routed underneath the fitting. To suit the ceiling situation, the fittings available are either flat and angular or narrow and round with greatly reduced volume. When using round cast-in housings, specially adapted downlights with electronic control gear mounted on them must be used.
